Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Project Definition

The following process is chargeable. If on completion of the BPA the decision is taken to proceed with the project, a project day will be provided FOC as a discount. The client is therefore only making a commitment at this stage to the BPA cost, not the full project costs.

The BPA is the first stage in defining a project. We will visit the client site for one or two days as necessary to

• Understand in detail the processes currently in use, including details of all internal and external (customer/supplier) documents, Management Reports and any unique processes and requirements.
• Understand any changes that you wish to make to current processes and procedures.

Following the visit we will

• Document the requirement by producing a Business Process Analysis or Project Definition Report.
• Produce an initial Task List that can later be developed into the Project Plan.
• Prepare a Final Proposal

At this stage the client will have a clearer view of the work required to implement the proposed project with any additional software or hardware defined, and the associated costs, and can make the decision whether or not to proceed.
