Sage 100 is a very well established mid-range accounting and business management solution from Sage aimed at companies with up to 100 employees. The software sits between Sage 50 and 200 in Sage’s Accounting Finance & ERP Solutions range of systems. The software offers a number of advantages over Sage 50. Even after the release of Sage MMS, the software can still prove to be an option in some business environments.

Sage 100 supports multiple concurrent users normally up to 16 users in a typical setup. Foreign currency capability is built into the software meaning that you can deal with your suppliers and customers outside of the UK with ease. A recent addition to the software is the Management Information System. This is a complete management enquiry tool which allows you to quickly pinpoint vital information about your customers, suppliers, stock items, sales orders and purchase orders. This is an invaluable “dashboard” tool for managers who need summarised information across the whole business, giving key management information at a glance.

The software consists of the following modules – Nominal Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash Book, Stock Control, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Invoicing, Job Costing, Fixed Assets and Management Information System.
